Well first let's look at what's gone on recently; the Crash Village website was taken down a couple months ago. So it could indicate Activision took it down because they don't own the IP.
... but, the website has been glitchy and barely usable in it's last few months, and Activision probably decided it was a wast to have a website up for an inactive IP, so don't cling to this.
But theres also the fact that Crash's name doesn't appear on any of Activision's website among their other IP's.
But very recently this particular tweet appeared
Wait a minute! What happened to "We're not sure at the moment, thanks for showing your support!"?????
Why "No comment."???? It's a simple "Yes." or "No." question. Could they be helping Sony cover up a big reveal? Or maybe not...
hmm, then why did you include Activision's IP in your trailer, which was meant strictly to show off new games/characters to be released on the PS4?!?!?
Now it could be part of a cover up for a big reveal. Oh how game publishers lover big reveals.
Now in the end with all of this, is it solid to say Crash is confirmed for PS4?
No. Confirming is when the publisher announces it, or there's enough evidence suggesting. While there is quite a bit suggesting we are, it doesn't mean we are, so don't make videos title "Crash for PS4 Confirmed!!!!" or go around to forums saying it is. Cause it's not. It's okay to talk about your enthusiasm for it's possibility, but unless a Sony higher-up confirms it, it's not confirmed.
